Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Melissa,  the founder of Avowal 119.

Avowal 119 was born during a season of prayer, reflection, and rediscovering purpose.

At the time, I found myself thinking deeply about the moments, scriptures, and memories that shape our lives and how often numbers become tied to those moments.

One day while working out, a phrase dropped into my spirit:

“In a world where you’re just a number, let your number tell your story.”

That moment stayed with me.

We live in a world filled with numbers:

statistics, dates, measurements, scores, milestones,
performance, pricing.

Over time, numbers can lose their meaning.

But behind every number is a story.
A person. A moment that mattered.

That realization became the foundation for Avowal 119.

My Story

Avowal 119 didn’t begin as a business plan.

It began as a way to turn meaningful numbers into wearable stories that spark connection and conversation.

Each chain features interchangeable numbers called OTOTs, inspired by the Hebrew word ot, meaning sign or mark.

The interchangeable design allows each piece to evolve alongside your story.

For some, it represents a favorite scripture.
For others, a hometown area code, birth year, sobriety milestone, jersey number, anniversary, or a season that changed everything.

What began as a personal reflection eventually became a brand rooted in meaning, testimony, and impact.
